UTILITY 56 - 2013 GMC Sierra 4x4
Utility 56 is a certified QRS unit through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It is also utilized for miscellaneous functions such as traffic control and manpower support.


DUTY OFFICER VEHICLE - 2009 Ford Expedition
Obtained from Whiteford VFC in Harford County, Maryland, the Duty Officer vehicle will provide a means for line officers to get early eyes on the fire scene and establish an organized command post from which to run foreground operations. The DOV is equipped with a roll-out command board and SCBA bracket in the trunk compartment.


ENGINE 56 - 2009 Pierce Velocity
Engine 56 is the first-out fire suppression piece on most calls. It is equipped with a 1500gpm Waterous pump, 1250 gallons of water, and 1500' of supply line. It is equipped with a standard complement of engine company equipment and a Genesis battery-powered combi-tool.


BRUSH 56 - 2005 GMC 1-ton pickup
Brush 56 is equipped with a 150 gpm pump and carries 300 gallons of water. It is equipped with wildland firefighting equipment and various diameter hose lines. Brush 56 runs first-out on all outside fires.


TANKER 56 - 2002 Pierce Dash
Tanker 56 is equipped with a Waterous 1500gpm pump, 2500 gallon water tank, two side and one rear dump chute, and 1300' of 4" supply line. Tanker 56 is equipped with multiple attack and supply lines, giving it the capability to act as an engine tanker or nurse tanker on the fireground--a role it frequently finds itself in. Tanker 56 is also equipped with a complement of engine company equipment.


RESCUE 56 - 2001 Pierce Quantum
Rescue 56 was purchased from Boring VFC in Baltimore County, Maryland and repurposed to act as the company's rescue pumper. Rescue 56 is equipped with a Waterous 2000gpm pump, a 1000 gallon water tank, and 1000' of 4" supply line. Rescue 56 is equipped with a Genesis battery-powered combi-tool, cutter, spreader, and rams, along with rescue struts, basic rope and water rescue equipment, and engine company equipment. Rescue 56 responds first-out on motor vehicle collisions and rescue assignments.


CAR 56 - 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
A former police cruiser, Car 56 now serves as a fire police unit and a manpower support unit.


ENGINE 56-2 (RETIRED) - 1990 Ford/Pierce
1000 gal. tank and 1000 gpm Waterous pump.


TRAFFIC 56 - 1989 Ford F-350/Wheeled Coach
Formerly serving Hawley, PA, this rig was purchased to serve as a rescue truck. It fulfilled that role until the arrival of the current Rescue 56 in 2018. Traffic 56 is a certified traffic unit in York County, Pennsylvania and frequently provides assistance to neighboring jurisdictions. It is equipped with programmable message board and various traffic control equipment.


SUPPLY 56 - 1987 International/Pierce
Supply 56 is utilized to establish a draft site for rural water supply operations and it supports the brush truck on outside fires. Supply 56 boasts a single-stage Waterous 1000gpm pump, a 300 gallon water tank, and 1200' of 4" supply line. Supply 56 is equipped with equipment to support water supply operations and Wildland firefighting equipment. It was refurbished in 1991 following a collision which resulted in the company's only LODD with Firefighter/EMT Thomas Hicks on December 16, 1990.


THE FWD - 1953 FWD
The FWD has a long legacy of service in the Fawn Grove community. Purchased new in 1953 as the fifth apparatus to serve the company--hence the No.5 on the door--it went on to serve for the better part of 30 years in various roles--from front-line pumper to the company's first dedicated water supply piece. The FWD was retired from front line service and now serves the company as a display and parade piece.
